Spiral Squares

• Vase. Segmented Construction. 578 pieces

• Measures 10" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter

• Maple, Butternut, walnut and black paint

• Finish: Waterlox

• In order for the segmented squares to line up corner to corner each ring's segments needed to be absolutely precise in size and perfectly centered on the vase axis. Butternut was hand carved away leaving the maple squares proud. Butternut painted black. Interior was coated with waterlox during assembly. Bottom and top are walnut
